Das Dakota County[2] ist ein County im US-amerikanischen Bundesstaat Minnesota. Im Jahr 2020 hatte das County 439.882[3] Einwohner und eine Bevölkerungsdichte von 298 Einwohnern pro Quadratkilometer. Der Verwaltungssitz (County Seat) ist Hastings[4], das nach dem Gouverneur Henry Hastings Sibley benannt wurde.
Das Dakota County bildet den südöstlichen Teil der Metropolregion Minneapolis–Saint Paul.
